Mr. Akihiro Kato, President of Angkor Tiger Club, and Mr. Kang Sen, Director General of Fuxin Steel Building, signed a memorandum of understanding on the construction of the stadium on Aug. 14 in the presence of Mr. Satoshi Saito, CEO of the Cambodian Primer League. According to Mr. Akihiro Kato, the construction of the stadium with 5,000 seats for speculators will begin in Oct. 2023 and is expected to finish in August 2024. Once completed, the stadium will not only serve for the Cambodian Premier League 2024–2025 season but also for the organization of tourism events.

Mr. Kang Sen was positive that the stadium would be of high quality and attractive and would contribute to developing Cambodia's football.
